Our Minister - Brett Walker

A Hawke's Bay local, with a Bachelor of Theology from the Bible College of NZ and a Masters of Theology (New Testament) from Otago. He also has degrees in Computer Science & Economics from Massey.
Brett is married to Sue and they have 2 boys, Paul and David.
Brett has been at St Columba's since 1999, previously he was the Minister at Flagstaff Union parish in Dunedin.
He has special interests in outreach programmes, the Chaplaincy at EIT, the Interdenominational Ministers' Association. He is also a keen follower of NZ sports.

Our Youth Coordinator - Wim Slooten

Wim coordinates the youth programmes for teenagers.
He originates from the Netherlands, spent a good 30 years in Southern Africa and has been in New Zealand (and at St Columba's) since 2003.
Married to Inger with 3 sons, Ralph, Stefan and Anton.

Wim's passion is "small groups" and he enjoys the challenge of discussing "hot topics" with the teenagers. A keen follower of sport, environmental issues and wildlife enthusiast.

Our secretary - Rhonda Holt

Rhonda is born and bred in Hawke's Bay, although she spent some time overseas in her younger days. She has two grown up children, Katherine and Robert, and now enjoys a more quiet life. Rhonda enjoys gardening, and can be seen out walking (on a nice day).
Rhonda is always helpful and will direct you to the right person if she is not able to handle the issue herself.
